A new paper by our PhD student Simon Mitchell in Journal of Applied Ecology shows that riparain reserves in oil palm plantations are important for birds, especially if they are >40m wide. The paper is open access and you can read it here!
We had an impressive turn out at the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation (ATBC2018) annual conference in Kuching. Twenty-eight members of LOMBOK attended, from our Malaysian and UK students, PIs, and local collaborators, and we gave 14 talks (have a look under Presentations).
